About
Jessica is a litigation attorney and founding partner in the law firm of Bryant Dieringer Wilson, LLP. Her practice focuses on the representation of elders, dependent adults, and their family members in matters related to financial abuse, injuries from nursing home abuse and assisted living facilities, as well as personal injury claims. Often times, these complex cases will involve fraud, heightened pleading standards, and the availability of pursuing advanced remedies such as attorney fees and awards of punitive and/or treble damages.
Before starting the firm, Jessica worked with Joel and Rob on the same types of cases in their prior firm. And in her early career Jessica practiced for ten years with distinguished law firms in San Diego, where her clients included business owners, professionals, attorneys, law firms, non-profit organizations and public entities. She represented clients on a wide range of matters, both plaintiff and defense, including complex business disputes, employment cases, class and collective action cases, and professional liability claims in both state and federal courts. Her current practice pulls from this experience since many of the elder law cases include allegations of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, indemnity, fraud and violations of standards of care.
Jessica earned her law degree from the University of San Diego, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in economics and business administration. She remains active with the University of San Diego School of Law, serving as a director on the Law Alumni Board since 2010.
Most of Jessica’s cases are litigated in Superior Courts throughout California, although she is also admitted to practice before all District Courts seated in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
